Fox terriers became popular as pets in the 1930s, and I love the old-fashioned look of these dogs, reminiscent of vintage nursery push-along toys.

Doing a little research, I discovered that these feisty terriers can have quite strong personalities, with highly developed hunting and escape instincts, while also making fun and loving companions for the right home situation. Apparently they are inclined to be argumentative with other dogs!

No problems like that with Fred though, he looks cute but he won’t bark or try to dig his way out of your garden!
